The Beauty of Biblical Sexuality
Understanding God’s
sacred design for humanity
Saturday, March 15 | 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.
You’re invited…
Join us for The Beauty of Biblical Sexuality, a candid, biblically grounded conversation about God’s sacred design for gender, identity, and sexuality. In a culture filled with confusion, this conference will equip you to navigate these topics with clarity, truth, and grace.
Whether you’re a parent, a ministry leader, or seeking answers for yourself, this event will challenge and encourage you to seek understanding in God’s wisdom.
Attendee Resources
Before attending, we recommend the following resources to help prepare yourself for the conversation:
-
Genesis 1:26-28 – God's creation of male and female in His image
Psalm 139:13-16 – The beauty of God’s design for every human life
Romans 12:1-2 – Living counterculturally with a renewed mind
1 Corinthians 6:18-20 – Honoring God with our bodies
Ephesians 5:1-14 – Walking in purity in a fallen world

These questions can help guide you in asking God to prepare your heart for this important conversation:
1. Am I ready to listen, learn, and be equipped?
Have I asked God to prepare my heart to be open to what he wants me to hear?
Am I willing to take what I learn and apply it to my life, my family, and my church?
Am I open to being challenged, corrected, or stretched by God’s truth?
2. Where have I allowed culture to shape my views more than Scripture?
Are there areas where I have become passive or indifferent to what the Bible teaches?
Have I unknowingly adopted worldly attitudes about gender, sexuality, or relationships?
Do I truly believe that God’s Word is the ultimate authority on sexuality?
Am I willing to surrender my personal opinions, cultural influences, or past experiences to align with Scripture?
3. How can I better disciple my family or those I influence?
Am I faithfully modeling biblical truth in my home, peer group, and community?
How can I create a space where people feel safe to ask questions?
Do I tend to lean toward legalism or compromise when discussing sexuality?
How can I be a voice of grace, truth, and hope to those who are searching?
Parent Resources
We want to equip parents to make an informed decision about which members of the family should attend this conference. Below are frequently asked questions to help families make the best decision for their teens.
-
This conference will address mature but necessary biblical truths about God’s design for sexuality in a direct yet respectful way. To help you decide if your teen is ready to attend, consider these guidelines from our speaker, Robert Cunningham:
✅ Has your child reached puberty?
If so, their own body is telling them they are ready for this discussion.
The greater culture is already discipling them on sexuality and gender—the church must not be silent.
✅ Are they hearing about these topics elsewhere?
Do they encounter discussions about sexuality and identity at school, online, or in media?
Would you rather they learn about it through a biblical lens rather than from culture?
✅ Are they mature enough to engage in a candid discussion?
This conference will be frank, honest, and direct, but not graphic or needlessly provocative.
Teens may feel a bit uncomfortable at times (especially sitting with their parents!), but in a healthy and important way.
If they attend, it will likely open the door for deeper family discussions at home.
For children who have not reached puberty, attendance is left to the parents' discretion. However, Robert will not filter his words based on who is present, as this is a conversation the church must have openly.
-
We strongly recommend parents attend alongside their teens. Doing so allows you to:
✔ Process the content together – You’ll hear the same message and be equipped to have deeper discussions.
✔ Provide guidance – Your teen may have questions that need further biblical wisdom and parental insight.
✔ Model healthy discipleship – You can use this opportunity to shape their understanding of God’s design with love and grace.Note: Robert will also preach on this topic in Sunday’s sermon, but the message will be less candid and appropriate for all ages, including visitors.
-
We understand that parents may want to preview the content before deciding whether to bring their teen. While we do not have a full transcript available, we offer several ways for you to familiarize yourself with Robert Cunningham’s topics and approach:
